Bring a copy of both your birth certificate AND a copy your social security card. Bring a pen to write with, we will have a notebook for each student. If you have a smartphone, tablet or laptop, (anything with internet access), you can bring it on the first day of class as we will be showing you how to access the E-Book we use in our curriculum.

Ages 15-17 MUST hold a permit for a minimum of 6 months before applying for the Provisional License. You must complete the course requirements within 1 year of the first issuance of the learner's permit, but your permit is issued for 4 years if you need to keep it longer. Students age 18 and older do not have a minimum time requirement on the Learner's Permit.

Learner's permit: you MUST be accompanied by a licensed driver, age 21 or older, any time you are driving. (Minimum 6 months.)

Provisional License: is a real license, no supervision required. You will have a passenger limitation and a curfew. You are limited to one (1) passenger, under age 21, unless they are immediate family members. No driving between 12 midnight and 5:00am (Must hold for a minimum of 1 year.)

Unrestricted 4 or 8 year license: This is a fully unrestricted license, just like your parent's. No restrictions or supervision required.

Of course! Many of our students take driver's education at their high school. They then take our course and realize the extra benefits of our highly professional quality of classroom AND in-car driving lessons.

Your instructor will give you our final documentation upon successfully passing your final lesson. This is your "Certificate of Completion". If we administered the road test, your score sheet will also be included, the only thing left for you to do is present this certificate, along with your personal identifying documents, and your 50-hour log (if under 18) at the Motor Vehicle office and apply for your Provisional License. If you will be taking the road test through NM MVD, you will have to schedule that appointment first.

Yes! Anyone who is not otherwise licensed to drive a motor vehicle MUST have a valid Learner's Permit in order to be legally behind the wheel of a moving vehicle. You must also abide by the provisions of the Learner's Permit, i.e. there must be a licensed driver over age 21 in the front passenger seat.
